Meet the team

Dr. Ijeoma Okwandu is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who practices in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up as the eldest of seven girls, she is drawn to caring for women along their reproductive health journey. She witnessed how the health of the mother impacts the health of her family. As such, she believes women’s health is the cornerstone to improve the standard of medicine for everyone. She is passionate about empowering women to be advocates for their health and their families. She is committed to providing the highest standard of evidence-based, education and and culturally competent care.  

Dr. Kimeshia Thomas is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, and former doula. She practices in the greater Los Angeles area. Her passion to empower women from low-income and underserved communities is what drew her to the specialty. She includes patients in the decision-making process so that together they can collaborate to create a care plan that is tailored to their specific mental and physical needs.
